Types of Eye Examinations
We have invested heavily in the very latest optical healthcare technology, and now have three types of eye test available for you to choose from including access to the revolutionary OCT, a technology that is currently available in very few Optical Practices and is available in Whitton only at Eye Smile Opticians.
Which of these is the right eye test for you?
Standard
- Approx 45 minutes
- Assess your history and any recent symptoms
- Measure your vision with your old glasses
- Full examination to the latest clinical standards
- Anatomy & ocular health check
- Retina check
- Intraocular (pressure) check
Premium
- Approx 60 minutes
- This gives us a more comprehensive insight into what's happening with your eyes. In addition to all the standard checks, we'll also take a photo of the inside of your eye. This allows us to learn more about your eyes and overall health. We'll keep these photos so we can see how your eyes change over the years. You'll benefit from the latest optical technology, a machine called OCT. It's like a scan for your eye, and allows us – and you – to see a 3D scan of your eye on a computer screen Most of our clients are choosing this advanced technology.
