How long does a contact lens fitting take?
You should set around sixty minutes aside for your initial contact lens fitting appointment. During the appointment, you will have corneal topography, lens selection, a trial fitting, along with guidance on handling and wear. We will schedule you an after-care appointment for four to six weeks after your initial fitting.
Is it safe to sleep in contact lenses?
We do not recommend sleeping with your contact lenses in place, as this can cause a corneal infection. The only contact lenses designed for overnight wear are Ortho-K lenses. If this is important to you, you can discuss this with your EyeSmile specialist at your contact lens assessment.
