You should set around sixty minutes aside for your initial contact lens fitting appointment. Where suitable trial lenses are available, they may be fitted. We will usually schedule an after-care appointment two to three weeks after your initial fitting.
Is it safe to sleep in contact lenses?
We do not recommend sleeping with your contact lenses in place, as this can cause a corneal infection. The only contact lenses designed for overnight wear are Ortho-K lenses. If this is important to you, you can discuss this with your EyeSmile specialist at your contact lens assessment.
