Mr Vineet Korpal

You many wonder what an Optometrist is doing on a team page surrounded by Dental professionals? The answer is simple but unique – Vineet is married to Neeru Korpal, Eye Smiles principal dentist and together they opened and continue to manage Eye Smile – a Dental and Optical practice.

Vineet started off his career in Optometry at an Independent House practice in Northolt after graduating from Aston University in 1995. He gained experience during his pre-registration year by visiting sessions at Moorfields Hospital and the Institute of Optometry (formerly The London Refraction Hospital). Following this he worked in practices in London, Birmingham, Bath and Bristol and settled down in Bexleyheath, Kent where he opened his first practice. He operated this Joint Venture with Vision Express for 10 years before selling on and moving back to West London with his young family to open Eye Smile with his wife, Neeru Korpal.

Vineet is passionate about learning and is currently studying at Aston University for a Doctorate degree. His area of interest is contact lens aftercare and complications. He also attends lectures and conventions to broaden his knowledge of Optometry and to keep abreast of the latest advances. Here at Eye Smile he has ensured that the practice is equipped with the latest technology including a retinal camera and an OCT instrument (Optometric Coherence Tomography).

Vineet runs clinics alongside managing some of the day-to-day tasks for the practices.

Outside work Vineet is an avid reader and loves travelling. He plays badminton and is a fair weather golfer! Much of his time is spent enjoying moments with his three children and their pet german shepherd, Honey.
